Holy Week and Easter

Easter is the Holiest time of the year, for all of us in the Episcopal Church. Everything we do together… work, pray, learn, love, and care for the poor… we do because of Easter. The life and ministry of our two churches flows from the empty tomb where Jesus still cannot be found. Instead, we find him living with us in our everyday lives. He is filling our lives with his burning passion for God.

We invite you to share with us in the vital and life-changing season of Holy Week and Easter. We suffer with Christ amid his betrayal and crucifixion, only to celebrate the feast of his resurrection. Our Holy Week schedule is simple:

Palm Sunday: April 1 – Service: 8:45 am
Good Friday: April 6 – Service: 7:00 pm
Easter Sunday: April 8 – Service: 9:00 am

Easter Day at St. Joseph/ St. Aidan’s is an especially wonderful time. The ancient liturgy and beautiful music thrills the soul and draws all of us closer to our savior and to one another. With our wonderful fellowship, this may be one of the best days of your year. Our church bears many expenses as we care for our member’s souls and cares for the poor. Our churches have grown in numbers and in faith, but we need your help. Please bring your Easter Offering on Easter Eve or Easter Day. God has great things in store for you. The Blessings of the Resurrected Christ will be yours.

Lenten Suppers

Sundays, March 4th and March 18th at 4:00 p.m. we will be having lenten suppers at the church. Everyone is invited. Please join us for supper and gospel discussion after dinner.
